Title: strange noise 2002 grand 2.7 crd

I have a strange noise which i cant place where its coming from!!
it appears when at low revs mainly sounds like its coming from drivers side front like a deep humming/vibration type noise.
as soon as you open the throttle a bit it goes,could even be a vibration of something?
also seems to be louder when reversing up my inclined driveway.
only even happens at low revs and speed and then goes at roughly 20mph and above :100:
anyone else experienced this,
any thoughts or ideas welcome

yep, had is twice now, shortly before thr front prop died. Try removing the front prop (dead easy, just 12 small bolts) and see if the sound goes, especially in reverse, seems the noise is easier to pick up going backwards, on mine at least.

think they are all getting to a certain age...........4 litre petrol, 210k miles  :wave-fingersmiely: only killed 2 props with my lift  :banghead: :icon_biggrin:

still got this noise :010:
thinking may be exhaust related?
seems to be at 1100-1500rpm,anyone had issues with cat as sounds like its coming from that area?
sort of deep rumble/vibration noise.clears at above 1500rpm and above,driving me nuts!! :banghead:

does it happen when you are not moving?
have you taken the front prop off and seen if it goes? only takes 15mins to remove
