Just FSJ pipe dreaming here.
Obviously Chevy V8s will fit inc Big Block.
Various other stuff like Jaguar/Porsche is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, I'm thinking big yank V8 :greggmo:
What about the big Cadillac V8s :017:

Cheers Dood :098:
I quite forgot about Novak, I tend to take some of their advice with a pinch of salt, they allways seem to rubbish the AMC engines :011:
So to fit a Cadillac 500 V8 I'd need a " BOPC" TH400 casing, which would be standard fitting on the caddy.

And then you can put a short shaft on the back of the TH400 and run a dana 300 or Atlas if ya win next eurolottery
Always been my dream 71 500 ci caddy and th400 in a jeep............. (I think they reduced power after 71..... lead free gas and stuff)
still possible to get 400 horses and 500 torque thingies......for not much dosh....... :icon_super:

Just wot I were thinking, 'cos I saw a cheap caddy with a 500 on eBay a few weeks ago.
I'd be looking at fuel injection TBH, running that on a big over-fueling leaky old Holley would just about break the bank
I'd wanna stay with the jeep rear end of the TH400 tho..........the quadratrack suits my driveline better :greggmo:

Are you thinking about putting 500ci Caddy power through standard Jeep axles then? can we watch!??
