Title: Cherokee 2.5 TD Sport.

Hi,
Getting there slowly! Just had a clutch fitted and got my lights sorted out but I now have a strange problem.
When I put my side lights on the mileometer switches off, but the panel lights work.Help please.

 :iagree: by rotating the headlight switch that you used to turn the interior light on with as you have already discovered  :icon_winkle:

Thanks but I've tried that,however if I push and pull the switch sideways (getting angry with it now!) the mileometer
comes on, so it looks like a faulty switch.

the headlight switch as you know pulls in an out for the lights to work. the "button" can be rotated, it is normally locked in one position where the dash display is on full illumination but when rotated past the indent the "button" then rotates and dims the display.
