In this months Total Offroad magazine there is what looks to be a really good offroad/greenlane route down between the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.Although only 33.3 miles they have put a time on of 5 hours and it looks quite a challenge and i wondered if we could get a few off us together and try it out so if you might be interested let me know, along with some suitable dates. 8)

Sounds good.
I'm flexible with dates. I can work round the awkward ones.
-
If i remember i will bring the magazine along on Saturday for anyone else to look at.
-
Just got mine today as well, the roadmap looks like a good one.

Maybe you will join us on this one Woody as it looks to be nearly as far for us as it would be for you,if we can get it organised.
-
maybe it is one for us to get together and do. i was thinkin of sortin another lane run soon.
-
sounds good to me Greggmo me old china

:smt025 :supz:

Dependant on date might pop along too looks a good route!
-
I like the sound of this one and would be up for it depending on when obviously!!... I have got to get some things done to the XJ before I commit to any propper offroadin !! but once I`ve recovered financialy from spoiling my wife/kids rotton over Xmas :Hangman: I`ll pull my finger out and hopefully get to some club events!!
-
Depending on diary I could be persuaded, I could even drop the dear lady off at her sisters and convoy with you all, mmmh have to wait for a good moment to broach the subject

I shall pick a copy of tor up tomorrow and have a peek for myself, see what i think and the same as everyone else. Depending on the dates but hopefully you can count me in :)
-
yup might be able to do this one
-
Deepending on when it is i am up for this one to
, but i think that i might have a problem with my front prop so i will have to get it fixed first.
-
i fancy this one too,my other half wants to know is there more mud than tarmac. If so see is willing to clean everyones jeep after the event.
-
it might be good to get a good number of us for this one
-
I like the sound of that!!!!
-
In the light of current anti stuff its better that no more than 3-4 go at one time methinks
Hate to be a killjoy but needs must
-
i am thinking that we just better get in while we can cos they will stop it, not if just when is the question. next walker sorry(red sock tosser) i see, i will mow him down , if he,s lucky....
-
i dont think the number is an issue if we are druving respectfuly to the landowners and the sufaces
-
The other option would be to split into small groups with a staggered start and have prearranged rest spots. That way more people would have the joy of navigating and help is never more than a short distance ahead or behind.
I led a group of 6 Jeeps on the Ridgeway Road Book last autumn and it was difficult to keep together turning out into traffic.

I was going to suggest this as well
-
Sounds like a damn fine idea to me.
Might give the red sock brigade less to moan about :D
-
If this one goes ahead, would it be OK if I bring along a couple of friends that seem interested (Disco! and a Trooper!
) ???
-
cant see y not, as long as they behave themselves.
-
i guess we could turn a blind eye to the fact they dont have jeeps. But after watching the watch dog programe we need to stick together
