Title: Wrangler TJ, hopefully this one better than the last one I looked at....
Post by: Green Jeep on March 26, 2011, 01:16:44 PM
Hopefully this one will be better than the last one I agreed to buy... will have stock rims (ooer) and BF AT's.... Just heard from matey, he has bought a RUBICON, and I'll be getting the wheels off that, sweet! Anyone know the standard size tyres on Rubicons?

Cheers Maf

Yeah I'm glad the rubicon wheels are being provided instead... Would be ace if they are 33" was looking for some taller laning tyres for my Cherokee as running 4.56:1 gears and Aussie lockers.... got the Jeep for a nice price, will have a play then retail it....

Also bought a brace of Mavericks this week....

we are on about the TJ Rubicon, not JK

Lifted from Wikepedia

The Wrangler Rubicon (named for the famed Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains) was introduced in 2003. It featured front and rear Dana 44 axles with built-in air-actuated locking differentials, 4:1 low-range NV241OR transfer case, 4.10:1 differential gears, diamond plate rocker panels, 16-inch alloy wheels, and Goodyear MTR P245/75-R16 tires. 2003 to 2004 featured a standard NV3550 five-speed manual transmission, which changed in 2005 to the NSG370, a Mercedes-sourced six-speed. The optional 42RLE four-speed automatic transmission was available from 2003 to 2006.

And it makes me cry cos i very nearly had one before i went for my Tomb Raider 03  :010:
