Title: 2002 grand Cherokee LTD crd
Post by: Willinot on April 14, 2011, 09:34:04 PM
I've noticed the car has a switch back on the ignition barrel so that the radio etc gets power when engine not started.

Question is , will this run the battery down to the point of not starting the car or does it have a shut down on it that automatically cuts power before the battery hits below starting charge?

Will,

First of all you'd have to leave your key in 24/7 because you can't take it out in that position.

I would assume that it will drain your battery dry without any fail safes.

Cheers for the quick reply.

Are there any fail safes?  Remember on an old Picasso I owned that the
Owed automatically cut out to prevent the battery dropping to below starting power supply.
