Hi, I've just fitted new leafs on the rear of the XJ, considering they are meant to be standard springs they have lifted the rear about 4" and now the poor girl looks like something out of street machine magazine in the 70's! I contacted the supplier to get coils to bring the front up but unfortunately after fitting them there is no difference in height. Whilst I am well chuffed with the budget lift at the rear I seem to heve gained, I really would like to level the XJ up. Does anyone know who in the UK supplies coil spacers, 2" teraflex or the likes. Any info would be gratefully recieved.
Cheers!

US ebay is your friend, Llama 4x4 may do them though, I can't remember, but they are cheap from the US even with shipping http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/84-01-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-2-FRONT-LIFT-KIT-Coil-Spacers-/220772890333?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336716f6dd (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/84-01-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-2-FRONT-LIFT-KIT-Coil-Spacers-/220772890333?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336716f6dd)

would also get a few miles on it b4 committing to anything else, you may find they settle to a suitable level

Hell that was quick!!!!!!!!!!
SCRW and Nosebolt thank you for the advice. I saw the very things on Evil bay but thought getting them on this side of the pond may have been easier. I've been running around with allsorts in the back to weigh it down a bit, done around 350 miles since fitting, it has cured the vibration so fingers crossed the leafs will settle a bit.
Cheers!

Well done Mick - put the PUK's in the front, that way if the rears settle you can remove the PUK's!!!

Aye that was pretty much the idea, anyway two broken swaybar joints later and I have to wind up for the day until new ones arrive. C'est la vie

Hi, I've been scartin through Evil Bay at these coil spacers should I go down this route. Anyone got any thoughts on which is better, poly or the alledgedly indestructable Delrin?
Cheers

Let the moooolar decide.

IOM, could do but they all fall in and around the same price and they all claim to be the best so it's down to finding some-one who has used them.

used some like the ones I linked to, as long as you use new isolators aswell its a fit & forget item

Cheers Steve (hope I got that right), I have them on my "watch list" along with some others that may suit. Because my XJ isn't a balls out offroader I thought replacing the leafs would have been straight forward,I'm now wishing I'd got a complete lift kit instead of playing catch up with bits and pieces.

Have used Teraflex ones before, but much happier with a proper 3" rough county set up, articualtion is excellent and comfy, budget lifts crash around a bit.
Hope you get it sorted, Maf

i have a pair of 2" teraflex you can have for £20

Hi Folks, many thanks to all for the advice and info, the plan of action is to install a pair of 3" rough country coils and see where that takes us! Llama 4x4 to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
