Think I may have somethink bad going on... from cold starts fine, idle ok, not smooth though.... struggles to build revs and back fires, better when warm, but low on power and sounds like its running on 5, usual stuff done, plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm...
Gunna do a compression check tomorrow, it's done 105,000 miles, maybe a burnt valve? No water in oil.
Just wondering if there is a 'limp home' mode that could have been triggered?
Or any other idea's? Fuel filter looks new and no kinks in fuel line, air filter removed and no difference.
As ever, thanks in advance Maf

Exhaust manifold downpipe if we are talking about the O2/oxygen/lambda sensor
Got mine from Jeep in the end after Lighthouse and Mansfield could decide if they wanted to sell me one because there are different types and they couldn't confirm which one I had! About £65 2 years ago (non-dealer was ~£45)

Just tried Lambda sensor, still the same, idle lumpy, backfires when trying to rev, will try coil next... any other ideas?
