Hello wondering if anyone can help please?
I have a problem with my jeep Cherokee sport 2.5 crd year 2002
It seems as if the tracking out, but its only just had it done, has it had 4 new tyres on early this year.
It is not going back to centre after turning to the right you have to steer it back, hard to describe it just feels odd?
I wondered if it could be something to do with the powered steering, but the levels are still OK?
Thanks

Get the front ball joints checked, they're prone to premature failure and can cause the front suspension to collapse unexpectedly.

OMG thanks i will ASP

They were subject to several saftey recalls, check with your local dealer, yours may not have been done.

Hi i have a local mechanic, hes checked the ball joints that are loose and need replacing! I'm scared to drive it till its fixed. So you was right. Thanks for your help.
Do you know if the ball joints can be changed or do you have to buy the full arm?
Iv had this problem for months but thought it was the tracking, the jeep has a mind of its own at the moment...lol

if the jeep hasn't been tagged as being fixed for the recall then they should do it without question.
