Title: 2.8 CRD CYLINDER HEAD

Anyone know if the cylinder head on the 2.8 CRD is a weak point? Mine is at the engine shop and has Porous Ports. They have got hold of another one and discovered that one has the same problem. I think they have now found another one and I'm hoping that one will be ok when they pressure test it before refurbing it

Just got the Jeep back. Replacement fully rebuilt cylinder head, all the labour and bits come to just under £1500. Decided to sell it now and cut my losses, so if anyone wants a 2.8 CRD Cherokee on an 04 plate at reasonable money get in touch.

dependant on milage one could be in for 3 pork pies and a packet of quality crisps..
