The Mother is Laws 2.7CRD Grand Cherokee 2003 has thrown up the following.
P1130 - Just read this topic http://www.birtydastards.com/frm/index.php?topic=16056.0 (http://www.birtydastards.com/frm/index.php?topic=16056.0) , although hers is still running perfectly, it has had the injector seals done last year before she brought it.
There is also P0700 - Speed sensors, Could the 2 be linked and where is the best place to get the speed sensors from, is it better to replace the input and output. Car has gone into limp home / wont change up a couple of times.

None of the above. It's a Mercedes-benz transmission. Forget trying to get cheap parts from the 'states, the 2.7 was never sold there. You cant get into the transmission diagnostics without a DRB3 scan tool, the P0700 code is a generic code which in this case covers multiple transmission faults. If it's working, leave it alone till it breaks. P0700-TRANS CONTROL 1-2/4-5 SOLENOID CIRCUIT. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
P0700-TRANS CONTROL 2-3 SOLENOID CIRCUIT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . P0700-TRANS CONTROL 3-4 SOLENOID CIRCUIT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Ok Mike, where do I need to get the parts from? I have sent an enquiry into my local jeep dealer, is this my best option?
-
They have software problems. first thing to do is take it to a dealer and see if it needs a flas update.
-
Ok brilliant, what should they expect to pay to it to be checked?
-
Plug in & scan - Flash update - Cappuchino + a free car wash ........ £ 32,-
Been there :icon_winkle:
-
Was that meant to be £132?

Nope...can probably scan you the invoice. As said many times before on the forum.......the stealers can reeeeally surprise you sometimes.

Cheers Dutch, I will give them a call and get it booked in. For that money be daft not to.
