Title: error code
Post by: brian reid on May 06, 2011, 08:30:28 PM
found out via this website how to get error codes to show ,looks as if i have a code 23,what is this, and where is it.

maybe this is the reason my power is dropping off not and then and the car cutting out and showing check engine now and then as well, turning her off and doing a restart clears it for another few months, but a pain in the arse when on the motorway and you loose power.

anyone know

regards brian

Hi Brian - do you have trouble starting too?  If you're losing power and you get the check engine light coming on, it may be a fuelling problem.

23 is incoming air temp too high - so you may have a bad air temp sensor.

starting is not a problme, only this cutting out every now and them, other than that she runs fine, but when i checked the error codes this 23 popped up.

do you know where this temp sencor is.
