Anyone know owt about these?
The only thing stoppin the red CJ from a yrs MOT ticket before I list it on ebay is that it failed its emissions, it has a fuel injection kit from howells on it and for reasons beyond my comprehension the garage that is puttin it thru the MOT cant work out how to adjust it, so anyone know what they need to do?
Or googley links?
I have had a look but it all looks chines to me :003:
Cheers gents and momomomomomos
Ps. engine is an AMC 360 5.9 V8

i sorta think there isnt an adjustment assuming you have no vacume leaks that you may be needing a new o sensor i imagine it has new plugs and filters
they are testing it as a 79 now i take it
-
yup, that was all cleared up, but that could spot how it was adjusted, neither could onearm
-
the more i google the suckier this gets, why is it so complicated :017:
-
i have only seen gm tbi i now its based on it but as i say i did think there was no adjustment the ecu does all that via feed back from o sensor and others

There will be some diagnostic system on it Bulldog as it wont be state of the art stuff if its an add on kit. They are made for simple folk to install :003:

Try posting on Jeep.com forum or early CJ's forum or even the FSJ forum, surely someone on there will know what is wrong

Aint it got something to do with burning chips :017:
Silicon chips that is not oven ones :greggmo:
I got a recolection from my forages into the IFSJA that you have to guess whats wrong with it.
Then take a stab at burning a new mapping chip to suit.
Sounds like a PITA to me :017:
