Title: give me a clue, i have none

I have seen standard tyre sizes 255/70/R16 and understand the measurements but when looking for an off road tyre the change to 31x10.50R15 etc, err dont know what i need now??? what does all that mean??

yes i did a search, no i did not find my answer, help a no hoper please  :jpshakehead:

ps hope your changing the wheels too, 15" tyres may bit a bit of a tight fit on 16" rims :hysterical:

31 x 10.5 x 15 is roughly the same as 265/75/15...

still no good when your running 16" rims


16" rims are biased to the metric sizing whereas 15" rims cater for metric and imperial

I have 16s that part of the tyre equation was not what was bothering me, please all forget I said R15 it was a copy and paste to tell me what the rest of it was lol

=

31" Overall Diameter.  10 1/2" Wide  and 15" rim
