Title: Anti roll bar for TJ '98 costing?
Post by: Crazycarl on May 31, 2011, 07:13:09 PM
I've found a front anti roll bar for sale on ebay for £25. Is the quality going to be any good  or will it be 'buy cheap buy twice'. I had the off side replaced last March and the garage charged £45 just for the part.?

are you on about the actual roll bar or the link ?

not sure if you off road but those should be the first things to go for upgraded parts

why do you want the whole bar, its a 3/4 inch dia bar and never gets damaged. The things that fail are the anti roll bar bushes and the links.

post a link to what your looking at mate and why you want it, i got 3 TJ's here and only ever replaced bushes and links  :greggmo:

links and bushes wear/degrade in time, £20 to £25 seem the average price per side
