Title: Ford stamp on cj gearbox

Dunno if im being stupid here but i've got a 4 sp gearbox here out of an 81 cj7 2.5 petrol & the top plate on the box has got Ford stamped on it. any suggestions?

yup thats fine jeep got many bits from many suppliers
