Title: eBay mess
Post by: Jeepjedi on June 05, 2011, 11:01:33 AM
I bought a set of 16" wheels for my WJ off eBay and was sold a set of jeep grand Cherokee wheels with basic info. Now I am annoyed at myself as the stud pattern is smaller than mine.

I have looked at the stud pattern guides and am way too thick and old to understand what the hell it all means.

The studs on my WJ measure 3"(not exact I know) and the wheels bought measure 21/2"(again not exact) did the older models (ZJ example) have a smaller stud pattern.

Are these off a JGC of have I been sold a puppy??

Please do not post links to stud size sites I have already looked and my brain went fizz, it hurt and I don't want it to happen again.

From what I could find it apears the WJ uses 5 on 5" pattern, seems there is only 2 common ones, this one and the 5 x 4.5"

try this also as I think you are measuring the stud pattern wrong (nice and simple)

Unless the wheels/rims are really good, then with those tread depths, youve been done  :jpshakehead:

things are only worth what buyers are willing to pay - and I'd class those tyres as being almost bald

Dont mean to add to your pain but have to agree with the other chaps re the tyres, they aint a selling point.

Good luck shifting the alloys, eBay can be an arse sometimes  :icon_sad:
