Title: Jeep bolt sizes????

How do? Got a few jobs to do on the TJ and I believe the bolts may be imperial?? What type of bolts are they so i can order a new socket set?? Are they AF? Cheers, craig

Theyre half AF half metric.

Don't forget a torx set up to T55. Some bolts changed through the TJs production with more becoming metric.

A fair number of bolt sizes are listed in the parts lists. You can download a copy from http://www.berrysprinter.com/jeepparts.php (http://www.berrysprinter.com/jeepparts.php)

AF thread sizes are listed in fractions of an inch eg. .312-18x.56 = 5/16th thread diameter, 18 threads per inch and .56 inches long.
