Title: Engine diagram - WJ CRD
Post by: MudSurfer on June 21, 2011, 09:24:11 PM
Does an engine diagram exist for the WJ2002 CRD?  I could do with knowing where the sensors etc are, and what the vacuum thing is that keeps making a noise after the engine is switched off...

TIA

Dr Mike is your best bet.

But for the buzzer thinghy located next to the airbox.....this is a relief valve for turbo pressure release after shut down.

I just drove the truck in the back yard to charge the battery (see my ABS issue thread in tech) and had a look at it and wondered
exactly the same thing but then had a look where all the tubes go.

I considered squashing her into the engine bay to see if I could make a template, and then make cowprint engine pictures for all WJ CRD owners.....but she was too heavy

For one I do hope you never have ABS probs.  Mine is now at stealer and stays there.

Got there in limp home mode @ 20 mls/hr after having been pulled over by coppers for going too slow this morning.

Replacement abs-unit I got from Carlos no worky.   (edit: not Carlos' fault)

This is deffo not a good day. (....can of petrol + lighter comes to mind.... :011:)

+ my library of uk drivers handsignals has been greatly enhanced as well.... :icon_eek:
