I have looked up this and seen the previous post but didnt really get the answer???
On tight left turns i get a WURR WURR WURR grinding groan from the rear of my jeep. Only happens when the diff/wheel/bearings or whatever it is is hot and very promanent when going left, it is slight when going right.
Is my diff packing up??? or is it bearings or even something cheaper :jpshakehead:

£219 from Lighthouse, bearing set and clutch plates, plus fitting of course unless you fit em your self

Sadly da man may be right..

Ok not great news and it is fitted inside the diff, is it an easy job, rear axle off or can it be done in situ???
-
Also if left (which I don't intend to do) what's the worst that can happen
-
if it's the diff gears grinding and wearing out the worse you'll get is a big bang and loss of drive but by the time this happends you'd be deaf from the noise
