Anyone any idea where to get a decent exhaust system for the XJ?
Mine is ready to drop off, clamps have rusted off and the rust is the only thing keeping it together!
Hence I need a new one before this one goes all together, was thinking of spending a little extra and getting somthing a little differemt to stock.
Any ideas?
-
I would have,.......but you don't buy stuff from them anymore!
-
Not 4-We will lie to you then steal from you-wd.com by any chance?
-
Could be. :?
Their own brand S/S cat back exhausts look good, and great value too.
-
How about erm..............US
-

-
We only do that when required.
-
Go on then Richard, whats your price on a full exhaust, no manifold.
Somthing a bit nicer/louder sounding than stock!
-
Now could be one of them times!
-
Let me get the rip off calculater out and work out some options..
-
Just dont give HIM a guarantee!!!!

Surely Owen comes under the catagory of "Act of God"!

I would have thought more like "terrorism or civil unrest"..........afterall his XJ looks like it has just come back from Iraq!!! You should have seen the state of it on sunday!!!!
Now theres an idea.......would he be able to destroy an Ex-RUC bombproof landie????
-
Why don't we have a seperate technical section called Owens Jeep?
Mountain Jacks address and scrapyards could just come up auotomatically
-
Aint realy damaged this XJ at all, its all been ushall running costs, general car stuff.
Its just a stop gap untill I get anouther ZJ!
-
Yeah, then you can really start breakin stuff again!
-
Shouldnt that be "just a stop gap til I kill another ZJ"?????
-
Anyway, if it's only a stop gap. BUNG A CHEAP EXHAUST ON IT!!!!
)
-
Isn't it a ZG anyway?
-
Got a timax one on mine £50
-

-
Got the following prices for mine last week from dealers in Northampton I use regularly for bits as I feared mine failing its MOT but hopefully just needs new brackets & a bit of sealing poo.
All prices are inc VAT & Before discount / haggling
Back box £198
Cat Genuine £350
Cat Non Genuine £150
Front pipe £120
Just so you know how much stock bits are
-
I paid for my old TJ (after some twat welded the exhaust together)
Front pipe £50
Cat £120
Back Box £90
All 'cause some tosser could pay a few pence for U clamps
-
Cat back from ATS, 18 mths ago, I paid around the £170 mark!!!! still hasn`t rusted much, and gurles more than a standard pipe
-
i agree, timax but get the aluminiumized one which is about £40 dearer (plus the dreded) but fits and sounds better and is a bit more "owen" friendly as the steel is also a bit thicker
