Title: Core Plugs

I will be changing all the core plugs as a few are heavily rusted but this one concerns me, do you recon its just badly fitted or has it tried to blow out? the rust deposits suggest it may be leaking as well.

so my question, if it has blown what could cause it other than freezing?

i'd put it down to a bad fit by someone or an owner in the past. Clean and replace while your at it.
