At the back of the inlet manifold. Looks like a flying saucer.

Cheers Mike - RHS, back of the engine bay as I'm looking at it?  I just want to blank it off and see if the black smoke reduces a little...

Tried a mod and it failed - put a screw into the EGR pipe thing that goes to the top of the UFO, to see if it would keep the EGR closed, but no, it just made the car angry, and it demonstrated it's anger using the medium of P1130 - back to the drawing board....
