Title: Saturday 5th February Pub Meet

Where are we going to have this one then?

There is deffo a lack of sitting space at the Cock and Magpies, but I don't know where else we could go.

Any ideas???

There are a couple of other local pubs , and i think that someone suggested that we have a look at them this Sat :P

As i said at the commitee meeting on Saturday gone,we really need to go to the pubs for around a similar time as to when the meet will start so we can best guage how busy each one is.The ones i guess we should try,are The Amber Tavern,The Wernley and The Old House at Home.What do you Birtys that are going think about starting at Amber Tavern at 7.30 and proceed from there. :?:  :?:  :?:

Thanks to all those that came,the Amber Tavern looks as though it will be suitable for what we need.Its big and plenty of parking.We should hold next meet there and you can all judge for yourtselves.What ever transpires,its certainly better than the Cock and Magpies. :D  :D

Amber Tavern is literally a stones throw from the Cock and Magpies.Its right on the lights where the Wolverhampton road crosses the Hagley road,opposite where Jonathons and the little Macdonalds are. :D

:? I guess i must have missed you mick, i was at the Amber Tavern at 8'o clock and waited in the car park till 8.30.Then went to the cock and Magpies for a quick one, it was really busy in there so it could work out all right at the Amber Tavern.See you all there on Saturday.

I am glade that we have found a good venue. I will not be there this month as we have had some very sad news. Carmels dad passed away last night at 22.00hrs. So i will be giving this one a miss. I hope that you all have a good time.

Amber Tavern was f busy and f loud, The Wernley was a whole different kettle of fish!

Company, as ever excellent.

Curry afterwards was fab.
