Title: Grand Cherokee Kumho and Rancho and possibly a leak??
Post by: daddydadbo on October 02, 2011, 06:28:39 PM
After cleaning and hoovering my new GC I discovered the front passenger footwell has a slight damp patch, I looked underneath to find a hole but can't find one.

I did notice that there appears to be a brand new exhaust and recent Rancho 5000 shocks which appear to be quite decent bits of kit?  It also has massive nobbly Kumho Road Venture tyres which seem pretty new too.

Anyone know of a common lace to look for the leak and also the rear wiper wipes but doesnt contact the screen, is it gubbed?

Wipers ...gently bend them towards the non clearing area ....then when it rains switch them on on permanent wipe.... :icon_biggrin:

........not one unless the floor is rotted

........dont complain or find the owner who lost them

Air con drain blocked so its back filling and soaking the passenger footwell. look under the car lefthandside of the gearbox for a rubber pipe that possibly ends in a pich ball. clean out and this sohuld allow the condensate to drain.

worst case you heater matrix has a leak.

Thanks for that, there is a Haynes manual in the boot and I guess it will direct me to the outlet pipe.
