Just a bit of background to this one.
As my car is still in warranty I decided to try out the dealers for a 2 year service.
When Ive got the car back, tickover is lumpy and the engine is definitely not running as smoothly as it was.
Potentially relevant bits they touched (apart from "visual inspections" ) that are connected to the oily bits/ecu & sensors are "filter engine" (whats that???) "filter fuel" and "check dtc with diagnostic tool"
Any ideas what they could hgave stuffed up with ?????

Could be a engine adaptation problem - take back to the dealer and describe he fault.

Question, not heard much tech stuff on the WK:
Those 3 litre CRD engines (or any for that matter) are they still Merc or other supplier ?

its heading back without a doubt :011:
as an engineer by trade what pisses me off is the lack of quality assurance. I realised after a very short while all was not well. I had a look on the paper work to see who had qa'd it after service..............the same name as the person carrying out the work :017: and the box for road test/drive isnt even ticked let alone any comments :icon_rolleyes:
