Title: Fitting tank guard on xj

Right then birtys, i'm fitting a tank guard to my xj (standard mopar one). Do i put towbar on 1st then tankguard or tankguard on 1st then towbar or doesnt it really matter?

If i recallits the tank guard then the towbar , looking at mine i have or it looks like the tow bar helps hold the guard on.
But i may be corrected shortly.................
