Title: left hand electrics not working
Post by: Jeepjedi on October 09, 2011, 03:38:32 PM
Had a small issue while off roading, massive loss of traction and went into a tree sideways couple of nice battle scars but totally lost my wing mirror in the process, now the central locking doesn't work the passenger side windows front and back no longer work, guessing there was a short during wing mirror removal and i have blown something, all fuses checked none blown, could this very new window switch modules required on my 2004 WJ ??? any help much appreciated

could be a short, 1st place I'd look is the wiring in the door jambs, process of elimination :banghead:

Ok here come the update

Replaced wing mirror, and both door switch units, ntral locing is now working but not on the fob and the rear passenger side window is working, the front passenger side however is not but when the switch is pushed there is a clicking from the passenger door, any ideas where to go from here, btw all earths seem fine, wondering if i need to change out the window regulator.
