got the damn thing really hot today, trying to back out of a lane- see my other post.
Could smell it and see some smoke. :?:

Probably got the bellhousing full of water and sludge, try to hose it out.......it'll be fine!

Twas one of my three post Robbo problemes.....
THink it involves hosing under the ttransmission mount

MOCAJ
have a look at the bottom of the clutch bell housing, where it joins the back of the engine block you will see a small slot. Just sit under the Jeep and swish a hose up there until you have flushed out all the crud.
The slot is there to allow engine oil to drain out if the seal at the crankshaft starts to allow it to pass.
There is also another one of these slots between the gearbox and the transfer case but it is not so easy to get to.

clutch seems Ok now and i can see how it gets in. :shock:
Somebody told me once " you will stop before the jeep does"- they were right.
