Having just fitted some replacement front fogs to my xj as the originals resembled fish tanks, the new fogs went on a treat. However they dont want to work! The front fog switch clicks on but wont light up as the rear one does, so I looked for the fuse in the recess in the drivers footwell and under the bonnet but I can only find the rear fog fuse? Anyone know where I can find it?

It may be under the bonnet near the relays if i recall.

There is the ' power distribution centre ' under the bonnet with the relays like you say, there are 4 relays followed by a row of 3 yellow fuses but one space?? Maybe that so I will check tomorrow and keep you posted.

In my old XJ, invariably if the switch didn't light up it was the switch that was at fault, had this with rear fog & rear wiper switch.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the info peeps, just done alot of searching about this problem and it seems its quite common that the connectors give up the ghost on the switches time to time. The rear fog light switch clicks and lights up but the front doesnt click as much and wont light up. The switches aint that easy to find, anybody know where to find them??
Thanks again

Anybody know if I will be able to fit a rear foglight switch to the front fog housing? Is the only difference the light or do they have different voltages etc??
Notts chrysler want £40 for the switch AND their system says you have to fit some wiring loom aswell, at £100 they can fu@k off!
