I have a Cherokee mk 2 1997 vintage , equipped with the devils own creation , the 2.5 diesal VM engine...
A few days ago it spat all its water out somewhere under the drivers side of the engine...
Apparently there is a hose running from somewhere near the oil cooler , and seems to be leaking from there...?
I can,t even touch the hose , let alone see it , can anyone inflicted by a similar engine give me a clue what bits i have to remove to get at this hose...?

Asuming its from the heater matrix or hose's in the dash?

Eeeek..don,t be scaring me with those nasty pictures...
I am pretty sure its not coming from the heater , the water was running down on the drivers side , the opposite side to the heater....
My Polish mechanic friend had a look when it was on his ramp and like me he thinks its coming from a hose near the oil cooler , hidden behind the water pump , and under the turbo pipes...
you can,t even see the hose from the top of the engine , or from the bottom , so i guess i will just have to remove bits till i can get at it...
I didn,t even know there was a water hose around that area.... untill it peed all over the road...

yep surgery is required :003:
