Morning all,
I was wondering has anyone ever attempted to swap their passanger side seat to the drivers side? My drivers side is F******D and the passanger side is like an old armchair. Is it possible??
Cheers

the brackets on mine look handed and you will def have issues with button accessibility, prob better to get a second had seat
-
Yup Just had a look under the seat and it looks like its all connected. Decided to pass. Hmmm Second hand seat I have had a look on Fleabay but it looks like its going to be a problem unless I move to the USA.
Cheers anyway.

seats are offset to clear the transmission tunnel plus the seat belt and leccy seat controls need moving

Its just the foam that is knackered with all the getting in and out of the car. Has anyone just taken out the actual seat bottom and changed it.
-
Can you not just get it recovered?
-
find a scrap yard in with a good passenger seat and raid it for the foam ( not that hard to get out believe it or not) or take your seat to an upholsterer and they will cut and shape a piece of foam to suit and glue it in

Ok heres what I did.
I un hooked the chair controls, loosened the cover and stuffed foam up inside where the old foam had collapsed. put it all back together and its ok.
easier.
Thanks for all the advice
until next time
