my willys needs its lighting improved as it nearly none so am looking for some retro looking tail lights cj ones look a touch big and to modern looking
if i can find somthing old looking that combines brakes indicator and side i will be happy i dont want to use two seperate lights like old landys
thanks in advance folks

Vintage repro motorcycle stuff?
-
You may want to look at some classic bike lights Bubba
-
dunno any links ????
-
Sorry Bubba I meant to say Car lights. I just googled Classic car rear lights and there are loads to choose from under the images link
-
I quite like the 'burger' lights, got the bulb type on tonka but recon the slimline LED units would suit a willys
-
This is a good site

LEDs on the 1 TON are 85mmround so could be an answer................... but maybe could be seen as too modern?

i have fitted hamburger lamps to no7 and they look ok but think they slightly to large for the 47 to look right and not quite retro
i dont want to duplicate the wartime set up as there have been several fatality's due to the poor ilumination at night in the last few years 6 volts dont help
-
I have fitted my 2A with rear lamps from www.s-v-c.co.uk (http://www.s-v-c.co.uk) their part number is 1252.
They are not as big as the 'hamburger' lamps and dont look to out of place

hmm nice also like the model a ones on that page

we got the 1252's on the beauford wedding cars , decent lamp and good light output, they wouldn't look too out of place on the cj'2

12v conversion not worth considering ??

i have but no indicator
-
Not a combined indicator and brake light but can be recessed seperately with a chrome or black bezzel ring or mounting flange as they call them over there.
Its the ST series round ones.
Hope it helps
