Evening all,
Think the battery is on its way out on the Jeep.
Alternator is less than 12months old and working fine confident its the battery struggling to crank over after a few short runs.
WJ 4.7 V8,
What "AH" and "CCA" do I need.
Cheers.
James

go to your local motor factors, not halfrauds
they will know what you need and you will save £'s, remember its just a battery to start a motor, nothing special just cos it has a Jeep badge :icon_winkle:
-
It's possible the main dealer will surprise you - give them a try!!

Mine gave up last week, local motor factors listed this for my 4.7 WJ:
Bosch S4 Pt No: 0 092 S40 080 74AH 680A
Not the cheapest but winters are pretty bad here.
-
Yes I saw the bosch S4.
One of the contractors did me a favour and appeared with mine!
Just put it on and 100times better on start up, plus everything seems brighter.
-
have you turned the dimmer switch up ?
-
No Rob, despite your simplicity.
I did already have the dimmer switch in its brightest setting.
