Title: Mother in Law's CRD
Post by: jay140285 on December 04, 2011, 02:00:25 PM
Afternoon,

Nats mom's WJ CRD has lost the heat out the blowers. Fluid levels are fine, blend doors are working ok as is the control box under the passenger glove box.

My only other thought is the engine temp doesn't seem to be that high, it was just around the 40-50 degrees mark. Could the thermostat be stuck open and allowing to much water to flow through the engine.

Keeping the engine temp to low and therefore the blowers are not producing heat?

Cheers James

Lol, not my bloody diesel mate.

I told them to get a V8 or I6 with LPG but they wanted an oil burner.

Already had injector seals done earlier this year.

Looks like a job for me the weekend then!

Seriously her partner is a sparky,

The other week all we wanted was an electric fence box re wired. Now I could do it but thought I would ask him. 2 weeks it took.

They have had a caravan awning off me FOC, a brand new Jeep alloy and New tire as he left his spare outside and it got nicked.

What did I get back £20 for a drink.

Man it winds me up.
