you need to imagine that picture inside out as its LHD, however I bet you its a shagged track bar bottom bush, I fitted a teraflex one which has like a bush in a bush type thing going on, they normally dont look fooked but when you add steering loads they rattle around a bit, I remeber following Gren at 7sisters one year when his gave up, and his TJ started a major death rattle at 50mph, scary shit :icon_eek:

get somebody to turn the wheel from side to side when your underneath, look for any play in all joints. Prob best on the ground to start with, also dont forget steering stabiliser can lead to many wobbles :icon_winkle:

:iagree: just like looking for detection problems on a HW

The track bar/panhard rod is getting replaced with your lift, don't bother getting bushes for it! Check the drag link ends (steering box to near side knuckle) usual place to wear out after track bar.
Oh and the picture is wrong for a WJ, it has a different steering setup :icon_winkle:

A bit o' play never bothered BA Baracus.

if you have ever experienced the death wobble you will know none of the A team couldn't handle it
-
Aye had it on a lifted F150-fair puts the shitters up ya.
Death wobble's a fair way removed from a bit of steering play though ain't it?
-
not yet a death wobble but who knows what might happen, thanks guys, investigations are afoot
