They look interesting.
I'd be a bit worried that they would trap the mud though which could lead to rotten sills.
-
Interesting to see a different approach to their design. Obviously very clean lines and look nice. I'd probably prefer the link to the 'frame rail' to be a tube or have a bit of angle or something on it for some extra strength. It's good to see people still designing stuff for a Jeep that's been out of production for over 10 years (and isn't a CJ or Wrangler)

cool idea
but would go for replacing sills with box section
-
Molotov has box section sills planned
-
That's the way I'm thinking is best.

Been there, done that.....would do the same next time too. :greggmo:

Look very nice.
But in my case would cover up rusting cills that once covered would quietly out of sight turn to sloppy wet digestive biscuit :jpshakehead:

It's nice to see some new ideas and thinking out of the box,
they look nice and would do the job as intended but there is the obvious mud trap at certain points also there would be a mating issue if the front fenders had been trimmed to accept bigger tyres.
Box section cills are good and reliable but what about thick wall tubing instead of box?
-
Very smart looking but as the others have said i would be worried about mud n gunk getting trapped behind and rotting
the the cills floor and b post support with no outward sign of the problem.
Perhaps a tweak of the design to incorporate drainage slots to allow gunk to wash out and allow owners
to get a hose in for cleaning.
