Not major but just a tad annoying leaving your mark on the inlaws crazy paving and anywhere else for that matter.

Wots the story ?

it's just marking it territory

easy-ish fix, sump off, rear cap off, half the seal is in the cap and the other half can be drifted out from behind the crank, seal cost a few quid and job is about 3-5 hrs for DIYer

just like an old triumph then. when fixed you carry round a picture of an oil leak to regain credability

Dint bugger the front seal up or break the timing chain cover while doing the job, and remember to fit a new sump gasket on reassembly.
AND
Don't forget to drain the oil out before releasing the sump bolts, or you'll end up doing an impersonation of Jason Wosname out of the Transporter!
