Title: Knocking at rear

I have a knocking at the rear of my overland which sounds like a knackered shock absorber but disappears when I have some weight in the rear.
Any idea what it might be ????????

Probably the ball joint on top of the diff

 :imwitstupid: :iagree: ball joint connecting the A frame to the top of the axle, had mine go, Jeep want £201 for the part but this is what i fitted and all is good

I f you get the clunk when you move off or gear change under hard accelerration, then it probably is that ball joint.
