ok steve prop angle as shown in pics, not sure its gonna help, was thinking if i get a transfer casing spacer might this help give it a bit more, old prop going back on friday, gotta do some miles soon and dont want to cause more damage if any ?
looking at IRO states CV prop has issues at 4" and above of lift, so for the now i may be ok till i can sort this out

its the angle coming out of the prop thats the one that causes the issues. Looks like your front pinion seal in shot though. Playing around dropping the TC makes it worse.
-
yer prop seal being seen to, ta. hey ho CV one for now then
-
the pinion should be 1deg up from the line of the propshaft, whats it at at the mo?
-
silly question.. both of you have had prop vibrations issue. Has anyone checked that the prop shafts are properly balanced? :017:
-
yep. WJs seem to be hugely sensitive to pinion angles, I was adjusting at 0.5deg angles to get rid of mine, then it all went to pot again when I fitted the long arms

cv back on, too many miles to do before i can sort, in the to do pile :011:
steve your the prop guru, fancy fitting another one :003:
