why wouldn't it? Do they do a RHD version?
-
Not sure about the use of rose joints
-
why :017:
-
D'not know that's why I was asking
-
I have used rose-joints on mine, I asked my MOT tester first, and he said he 'would pass them as long as there was no movement'. its a place I use regularly and they see all sorts, so worth checking with the guy you use, but should be no issue, all the hot-rodders use them.Pick a good spec and suitable size and mount fit for purpose.

:imwitstupid:
I have rose joints and they have never been a problem on the mot but whether the mot man would be a bit more picky on a modern motor i dont know :102: Would of thought its more likely to be your insurance provider that may have a problem with it if anyone.
-
It's no problem as long as it's installed properly. Rose joints don't like mud and water though.
-
The teflon lined ones i have dont seem to mind mud and water and have been on for ages now, i just give them a blast with spray grease every now and then, but if you buy the cheaper brass lined ones then yes you will be changing them every other week.
They are also far easier to change than a normal ball joint as well, just a couple of spanners needed. :icon_winkle:

Thanks for the info
feel a project coming :icon_super:
If i do a bolt on job i can put it back to stock if it go's wrong
-
as said if there is no play then there is no reason why it should fail.
rose joints need to be maintained and looked after rather than left like conventional ball joints, since they have minimal environmental protection
