Anyone tried led bulbs in the reverse lights? Just wondered if they are any good

Cheers,will do

LED brake lights are the way to go, remember you will most likely need a resistor if you want to use them for the indicators as well (flash rate is normally too fast with LED bulbs).
AUDI now have LED headlights instead of HID for the top line motors

led technology has been around for many years now but the tech in the last two years has made a large step forward . as mentioned before look for units using the CREE drivers as these are by far the best available at the moment. the next step forward is going to be with SMDs. the biggest problem with some of the cheaper end of the market is the leds used give a very tight beam angle which is not advisable in my opinion for brake lights. you can use them for indicators if you use a timed flasher relay instead of the conventional thermally operated type.
