Title: Advice please
Post by: robsrotti on May 29, 2012, 10:44:31 PM
Ok so i have just taken delivery of the xj orvis that i paid £400 for, and its not that bad. So what do i do with it. It is running 16in wheels so what size tyres do i go for and what hight lift should i put on it. Taking into consideration my TJ is my main toy, i dont want this to cost me too much but i cant leave it standard. Info please thanks Rob

For me, I would put some decent AT's, say 235 wide on it & leave everything else well alone if you have the TJ to play in.

Will be fine for most laning & just about anything else you want to use it for.

Anymore will start to cost

If you don't want it to cost too much then stay to a maximum of 3" lift and 31" tyres.

Money no object for a smaller lift I would say Old Man Emu 2-2.5" lift with 30" diameter AT tyres. I think theres a tyre calculator on here somewhere but it probably about 245/70/16?

Thanks for that guys, I was thinking along the lines of a 3in lift and 31's. LLama 4x4 are not too much money for Rough country lifts.
