Title: Exhaust system
Post by: MK1 on February 11, 2006, 07:35:09 PM
Can anyone advise on an exhaust for a '79 CJ7? I've looked on 4WD and there seems to be many types/years.

A supplier yesterday said that '79 should have a cat.

Mines single box, no cat, was '78 A code engine, now ? C code engine.

What is the difference between years/engines?

4WD's own brand exhausts are top bits of kit, and good money too.
T'is what Barbie will be gettin' when it needs replacing.

Not having the cat aint the problem.

The problem is knowing which kit to order. It seems it is '78 spec.

they should all fit mate as long as you say if its an auto or not and left or right hand drive. dont bother with a cat cos ya dont need one. i have part 4wd exaust and their stuff is great. 8)
