i would replace the other bits as well for a full fix.

so do I assume the answer is no? if so where do the other bits come from, and what are they?

That plus the two UJs. If there is any play in the slip joint it's easier just to get a full rebuild done by someone else or a new propshaft.

lightys do all the bits but if the post that the bit in ya pic fits to  is at all worn you are wasting ya cash and time
