Kev can you tell my what the AMC 20 axle you sold to Ade was off, the hanbrake fittings are completely different, it would help to know to either find parts or i am gonna have to have the drive shafts out and change the back plates :icon_sad:

Would a pretty please help? I really need to know what this axle came off as the easiest way to do this is swap the handbrake cables! where it's sat on stands in Nicks garage I haven't got the room to strip the axles to swap the back plates! If it helps anybody the cables on his truck bolted to the backplate, the cables it now needs are just a regular slide in jobbie, if somebody can give me a rough idea of a year I can spend sometime in the factors trying to match something up!
This bloody truck is gonna see me in an early grave, every single job I do just throws up a bigger list of problems & a thousand bodges!!

no idea of year as it had been at mine a while and could have come from a 79 82 80 or a non discript rolling chassis a very long time ago somwher on here i did say before you had them that a rebuild on ya own might be better as there was no garantee they were the same ratio as yours but i would think by the sounds its 78/79
