Title: Terra Clean on the TJ
Post by: Cockney Boy on August 18, 2012, 01:52:43 PM
After seeing the results from my mates BMW and how much better it was after the clean, I've booked the TJ in.

Do you know your long term average fuel consumption to compare before and after? I've just been having a quick look on the net and can't find anyone reporting before/after differences apart from seat of the pants dyno performance gains.

What does it cost?

Cost is £120, and I'm doing it for engine life more than fuel consumption. I'd hate to see the carbon fouling on the head.

Haven't looked at tera clean but just ordered the diesel version of this http://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/product.php/226/bg-44k-injector-cleaner--fuel-system-cleaner-and-carbon-remover (http://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/product.php/226/bg-44k-injector-cleaner--fuel-system-cleaner-and-carbon-remover)

Seems popular on many forums, not convinced but thought I'd give it a go in the name of research  :003:

Cant really find a bad word about it on tinternet, seen one thread somewhere that goes on for page after page about putting 2 stroke oil with diesel & it has the same effect, will report back when I have tried it  :icon_winkle:

I've heard the stuff about the 2 stroke oil somewhere else..also that some of the cheaper diesel fuel treatment additives are mostly the same oil!

Hope it works for you..will be waiting for your report.
