Title: Grand Cherokee ZJ rear diff
Post by: ukturbo2000 on September 13, 2012, 06:31:20 PM
Hi All,
my pinion bearings have broke up and chewed the rear diff on my ZJ, from what i've read it's probably quicker to obtain another axle and fit that.
My questions are therefore :

1. Is it a reasonable easy job to carry out on my driveway. I've plenty of tools and a pretty good mechanical knowledge

2. My jeep has the quadra trac system, would i be able to fit any other rear axle with the same ratio or must i find a quadra trac unit.

3. would you guys even bother (currently zj's going for between £500 - £600 around here.

your help in making my decision would be great, thanks Geoff
