Can anyone help i have a 1997 jeep cherokee 2.5 td xj i was slowing for traffic lights almost at a stop when the brake pedal went hard and the abs light came on i moved off and the brakes were ok again but the abs light stayed on left it over night and tried the day light was off and the brakes seemed fine went out again later pulled up at the petrol pump and the same thing happend ive pumped the brakes with the engine off and the pedal drops when the engine is started so i dont think its the brake booster but unsure what to do next any advice?? please

Get the ABS scanned for faults.
