hi All
Fairly green to jeeps and fancied changing my diff fluids since ive had my jeep two years now. I think i have a dana44 rear and unsure about front.
just wondered what oil/add to use in the uk - no serious offroading just fun and dont tow - its a 98 tj 6cyl.

If you are not doing anything harsh with your Jeep then use 75W-140, I was told today that if you go froading then use a Semi like 75W-90 but change it regularly.
No doubt there will be a few others giving alternative options

Can you recomened a brand in particular and do use an add?

Mopar from a Stealer, Redline, Castrol. These all produce adaptive too. But if your changing it regularly then I wouldn't get too hung up about a brand.

Hi there - I had a groaning rear diff noise when making tight turns - like in a supermarket car par - and used Lucas synthetic 75w/140 oil and an additive made by Crown Automotive . Ran these for about a month , the noise had reduced but still there , changed the oil and additive again and now the noise has gone. Also used the Lucas for the front diff as well. All from ebay as below. Did the job for me but as Cockney Boy said others will have others !!

you will have dana 30 front and 44 rear with lsd in it

thanks folks..... also looking to get a stainless exhaust any ideas or preferences?

Find a local place to make them from scratch be cheaper
